Just a quick thought…
…it is not about the agent, it is all about you, the consumer. It is not about how long I have been in the business, or how many homes I have sold. It doesn’t even really matter what company I hold my license with. What matters is, Do I have the tools, personality, and communication skills to satisfy your needs as a home buyer and seller.
An agent doesn’t sell a house, PRICE does. No matter how much we market it or how much experience we have, the price will draw the traffic, and obviously the more traffic – the faster it will sell. So as an agent, it is not about my experience, it is about my ability to provided you, the seller, real information that makes sense and will let you see exactly what your neighbors are doing and which features of your home will come into play by increasing the market value of your home.
But it is not about “worth” to you and me. It is about appeal to the buyer looking to purchase a new home. Sweat equity doesn’t matter to a potential buyer. How long I have been in the business doesn’t matter to potential buyers, what matters is the price-to-value relationship of the home itself.
Everything sells, if it is priced right!
