Partnership With Internship Program For Local Youths With Disabilities

 
North Reading, MA (Apr. 22, 2016) – Russell Realty Group partners with disability and inclusion organization, Triangle, to provide career opportunities for local youth.
According to the Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission (MRC), 80% of people with disabilities that are not exposed to work by the time they leave high school are unemployed. Triangle’s Transitions to Successful Careers program (TSC) connects currently-enrolled high school students with disabilities to local companies who are committed to mentoring and investing in the future of our workforce through six-week internships.
Bradley is currently completing his six-week internship with Russell Realty Group as an Administrative Assistant. “It is a great place to work full of great people,” said Bradley, “I could tell after my first meeting that I was going to enjoy it. Everyone there is nice to me.”
– Brad Brooks Upon hearing about the TSC program and recognizing its value, Russell Realty Group was eager to become involved. It was through the TSC program that Russell Realty Group was connected with High School student, Bradley Brooks. Bradley is a long-time history buff and high school Senior set to graduate from Reading Memorial High School this spring.
